Free parking is available to all patients of Iowa City VA Medical Center.

Patients and visitors should park in the lots, in front and in back of the Medical Center.Please note that parking can some times be a challenge.

Construction Update

Construction is in process through out the medical center so please pay attention to the signs posted for your safety.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking is available in the front lot of the medical center.

Security

Iowa City VA Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 6600. In case of an emergency, dial 333. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.

Our parking lots are also equipped with emergency phones that automatically ring to the VA Police office when picked up and there are cameras that are monitored through out the parking lots and facility.

Outpatient Clinic Parking

Free parking is available at our six outpatient clinics.
